Built for luxury service on the British L&SW Railway. One of 12 such vehicles rebuilt in 1916/17 as ambulance coaches for the British Army in the Sinai and Palestine Front. After the war, car no. 314 was rebuilt by Palestine Railways as a 3rd class car, and remained in service until the 1950s.
